SAN ANTONIO, TX – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), San Antonio District Office is now accepting award nominations for SBA’s 2010 National Small Business Week (SBW) to be celebrated May 24-26, 2010. During Small Business Week, the SBA recognizes outstanding small business owners and champions at the local, regional, and national level for their personal achievements and contributions to our nation’s economy. Nominations can be made by any individual, agency or organization, and is not limited to trade and professional associations, economic development agencies, chambers of commerce, banks, credit unions, small business owners or its employees.
In celebration of National Small Business Week, SBA recognizes award winners in the following categories: Small Business Person of the Year, Small Business Exporter of the Year, SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year, Financial Services Champion of the Year, Home-Based Business Champion of the Year, Minority Small Business Champion of the Year, Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year, Women in Business Champion of the Year, and Entrepreneurial Success Award.
Complete nomination packages must be received by the San Antonio District Office no later than November 13, 2009. Packages must be delivered and postmarked no later than the due date to: U.S. Small Business Administration, North Park Corporate Center, 17319 San Pedro Avenue, Building #2, Suite 200, and San Antonio, TX 78232.
