SBA Wilkes-Barre Branch Office Opens with Great Fanfare

Small Business Tour, Office Reception, and Ribbon Cutting to Spotlight Agency’s New NEPA Office

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The U.S. Small Business Administration officially opens its new Wilkes-Barre Branch Office on August 23, 2012, with a small business tour, office reception, and ribbon cutting ceremony, the agency announced today. These events are open to the media.

The location of the U.S. SBA’s new Wilkes-Barre Branch Office in Northeastern Pennsylvania makes agency programs and services more accessible to the northern tier of Pennsylvania and better connects the agency with the lending and small business communities that it serves.

Sonic’s lunchtime crowd, business owners Sean Kelly and Jody McGrail will guide a walk-through tour of their restaurant kitchen and discuss how SBA-funded SBDC assistance and SBA-backed funding has allowed them to create hundreds of high-quality jobs in their Scranton-Wilkes-Barre hometown.
