S.C.'s Major Small Business Event Is May 16 in Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Small Business Administration, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Coalition for Small Business and Entrepreneurship will present the 2012 Salute to Small Business on Wednesday, May 16, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year's Salute will feature a small business procurement matchmaker, small business and business resource exhibitors, a dedicated networking space and an awards luncheon honoring the South Carolina winners of the SBA's 2012 small business awards. Procurement matchmaker participants will include representatives from more than 30 private and public sector organizations, such as Boeing, BMW, Robins Air Force Base and the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
