SAN FRANCISCO – The U.S. Small Business Administration, San Francisco Small Business Commission, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, San Francisco Council of District Merchant Associations, San Francisco Economic Development Alliance, Golden Gate Business Association, sf.citi  and presenting sponsor Bank of America announce the Tenth Annual San Francisco Small Business Week (www.sfsmallbusinessweek.com) taking place from May 12-17, 2014.

San Francisco Small Business Week consists of a week-long program of achievement, recognition, education, networking events, and seminars for the small business community.

The Gala Kick-Off event, Flavors of San Francisco, will feature more than 20 local restaurants and a wide range of small business resource providers. The Kick-Off is expected to attract over 1,000 San Francisco small business leaders.

Additional events and celebrations include: an expanded Small Business Conference with a keynote by Mayor Ed Lee and remarks by Mark Quinn, District Director, U.S. Small Business Administration; TED-Style Talks; success panels and procurement opportunities from City, State and Federal organizations.
