Locally, award winners from eastern Pennsylvania and their nominators – in both national and local categories – are recognized at a high-profile awards ceremony and networking event, drawing some of the area’s top lenders, economic development organizations and small business people, as well as elected officials and members of the press. Winners in the nationally-recognized categories are recognized in a national award ceremony held in Washington, D.C.

Eastern Pennsylvania’s Small Business Awards is a local observance of the Presidentially-designated National Small Business Week. National Small Business Week is celebrated in Washington, D.C., annually in recognition of the small business community’s contribution to the American economy honoring outstanding small business owners from around the country.
