- This document provides the Small Business Administration's budget proposal for the upcoming budget year, Fiscal Year (FY) 1998. The Budget Estimate document is a detailed presentation of the President's budget request for the SBA and outlines the Agency's resource requests, including funding, staffing, and Agency programs and activities. Information is also presented on program accomplishments for FY 1996 and anticipated accomplishments for FY 1997 and FY 1998.
- Purpose:
- The Budget Estimate provides actual funding and staffing levels for Agency programs for FY 1996 and FY 1997 and proposed levels for FY 1998. Summary tables provide a comparison of the funding and staffing for these years, including the Agency's credit and non-credit programs. Narrative explanations provide an overview of Agency programs for each of the three fiscal years and detailed explanations are provided for the changes proposed for FY 1998.
