Abstract:

Small Business Profiles is an annually updated collection of two- to three-page economic profiles of each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Each profile contains baseline economic data for each state, such as business starts, business closings, employment growth, the fastest growing industries, and lending patterns.

Purpose:

The purpose of Small Business Profiles is to provide to the public basic economic data on the small business sector of the U.S. economy at the state level.
