Dr. Kenneth Boltz of Drs. Boltz & Rengert Inc.

In 1985, upon completion of his degree from The Ohio State University Optometry College, Kenneth Boltz D.O. opened his own optometry practice. In 1995, fellow optometrist Michael Rengert joined the practice.

Boltz specializes in pediatric optometry, while Rengert concentrates more on geriatric optometry.

In 2000, with the help of an SBA 504 loan, the doctors were able to purchase a building in Dublin, Ohio. They currently employ 10 fulltime or part-time staff.

Boltz said flexible hours that allow him to schedule around important family events are among the benefits of being a business owner. He added that customer service is a key to success.
