PRO-NET

PRO-Net is an electronic gateway of procurement information -- for and about small businesses. It is a search engine for contracting officers, a marketing tool for small firms and a "link" to procurement opportunities and important information. It is designed to be a "virtual" one-stop-procurement-shop.

SUB-NET

Prime contractors will use SUB-Net to post subcontracting opportunities. These may or may not be reserved for small business, and they may include either solicitations or other notices -- for example, notices of sources sought for teaming partners and subcontractors on future contracts. Small businesses can review this web site to identify opportunities in their areas of expertise. While the web site is designed primarily as a place for large businesses to post solicitations and notices, it can also be used by Federal agencies, state and local Governments, non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, and even small businesses for the same purpose.

EXPORT ASSISTANCE

The U.S. Department of Commerce's Commercial Service offers one-on-one counseling and international marketing assistance to promote US commercial interests globally. Services include a network of overseas contacts who prepare international market research, trade contact services and international promotion events. In Ohio, U.S. Commercial Service offices are located in Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron and Toledo.

STATE OF OHIO PROCUREMENT

The State of Ohio Procurement Web site displays all procurement opportunities and supplies and services contract information administered by the Department of Administrative Services (DAS). This agency issues all major procurement opportunities and negotiates all contracts displayed unless otherwise noted.
