RI Fire Code Technical & Financial Assistance Seminars The SBA, in cooperation with many of the state's lenders and the hospitality industry, has developed a strategy for providing technical and financial assistance to small businesses affected by the Comprehensive Fire Safety Act of 2003. The U.S. Small Business Administration is working with its resource partners, SCORE: Counselors to America's Small Business, the Rhode Island Small Business Development Center, the Center for Women & Enterprise, local financial institutions, the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, and the Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association, to provide technical assistance and financing to small businesses affected by Rhode Island's revised fire code regulations. Seminars will be available in the future to assist small businesses with meeting the requirements of the new fire code. | ||
