The historic five-star Jefferson Hotel in Richmond was the setting for the 2009 Small Business Awards Luncheon on Friday, May 8th. A crowd of over 300 business and community leaders celebrated Virginia Small Business Week and honored this year's small business and lender award winners. Pictured below are: (left photo) Douglas Call, President of Virginia Prosthetics, the 2009 Virginia Small Business Person of the Year, and (right photo) Tinh Phan, Chairman, Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce, the Virginia and Region III Minority Small Business Champion of the Year, both receiving their awards from Congressman Bobby Scott and Ron Bew, SBA District Director.
