• SCORE, Counselors to America's Small Business is a resource partner of the SBA and is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE’s retired and working volunteers provide free business counseling and advice as a public service. Washington has chapters across with more than 400 members with experience in all major industries including manufacturing, distribution and service businesses.  Every effort is made to match a client’s need with a counselor experienced in that line of business. When you seek help from a SCORE business counselor, you get the benefit of all his or her ideas—and the continuity of knowing that someone who knows and understands your small business is available for ongoing support.

• Small Business Development Centers across Washington State deliver training and technical assistance to small business owners that want to improve or expand their current operations. Business Development Specialists have certified broad-based skills and significant experience as business owners or managers.  They provide one-on-one confidential assistance to small business owners at no charge.  Specialists advise clients on financial, marketing, production, organizational, engineering and technical issues, as well as assisting with feasibility studies.

• Women's Business Centers  provide a wide range of services for women entrepreneurs at all levels of business development.

Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training WNET - Looking to meet, network and learn with other women business owner's?  Attend monthly WNET breakfast meetings held in downtown Seattle, Everett, Issaquah and Tacoma and receive focused interactive training on a variety of small business managemnet topics designed for small business owners.  both men and women are invited.

E-Business Institute

SBA offers free SBA Business Publications and much more in its online training library. SBA also offers over 50  workshops, and short, self-paced courses on a variety of business topics in its online classroom.

• The U.S. Export Assistance Center offers a full range of federal export programs and services from a number of federal agencies. Many locations have new-to-export programs called E-TAP.
