  • Need $$ for Your Small Business? - Attend an SBA Loan Briefing in Seattle, Spokane or Tacoma.  Unable to attend?  Go virtual via ReadyTalk.  Available the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, from Noon to 1:00 p.m.  This session is open to anyone interested in knowing how to get a loan to start, expand or buy a small business.  Learn what lenders look for, what resources and financing programs are available, and what to do next. 
  • Small Business Taxes & Bookkeeping for the Sole Proprietor
    2nd & 4th Thursday of each month - 10:30 am to 11:30 am - Important information about your federal income tax responsibiltiies, which forms to file, what taxes to pay and when they are due.  This is a free workshop and no registration required.  Call 206-553-2664 to confirm dates. 
  • SCORE Workshops - Seattle - Bellingham - Tacoma - Spokane - Wenatchee
    Workshops targeted for start-up and existing businesses.  

  • SBA's Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET) - Monthly breakfast meetings runs from February to November in downtown Seattle, Northend, Eastside, and South Sound.  The format is simple: Learn from experts, get your questions answered and network with other business owners.  
     
  • New Business Outreach Workshops - Washington State Tax Seminar
    9 am to 1pm - Jan 14, Mar 3, May 12, Jul 14, Sep 8, Nov 10
    This workshop is presented by the Washington State Department of Revenue. Learn about excise tax, how to report your taxes to Washington State and taxes specific to your business. Find out about reporting classifications, deductions available, sales tax collection and record keeping requirements. This is a must for the new to business owner or businesses that have relocated from another state. Copies of rules and regulations and workbooks will be available during the workshop.   • Certification:  Benefits and Process Workshop FREE
