Great Lakes Caring
Great Lakes Caring is a full service, post-acute care provider started in 1994 by William Deary and his wife, Cheri Lyn Deary. The company has provided care to over 125,000 people with referrals from over 2000 physicians. Its growth has been achieved through vertical expansion in other health service lines, such as hospice, private duty, housekeeping, lifeline and home medical equipment.
Great Lakes Home Health and Hospice received a $140,000 SBA guaranteed loan in 1995 that has been paid in full. The company has grown from two employees in a 150 square foot office to over 1000 employees with offices in 21 cities throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
