Under SBA's FY2005 Appropriations, SBA has received funds for the Program for Investment in Microentrepreneurs (PRIME) program. The original program announcements are: Program Announcement No. PRIME 04-1 and Program Announcement No. PRIME 04-2. Both of these announcements closed on May 11, 2004.

For FY2008, SBA utilized the applications and scores from the FY2008 RFP. SBA awarded grants to 30 applicants that also received funding in 2007.  Future grant awards were $2.7 million.
