Federal Funding: $187,802
The New Mexico Economic Development Department (NMEDD) STEP program will develop companies from the “basic export training” stage to New-to-Export (NTE) status, and finally export market development, that help companies achieve an effective overseas market profile. New Mexico’s efforts will seek to maximize regional coverage by taking advantage of trade missions or trade show, outreach to an adjacent country in the region, and incentivizing for companies to cover a broad swath of territory and increase their chances of export marketing success.
