Speaker 1: My name is Carolyn Rafaelian, I'm the owner, designer and creator of Alex and Ani. Alex and Ani is located in Princeton, Rhode Island, that's where our corporate headquarters and our factory is, and we have stores throughout the U.S. The most rewarding part about growing and starting the business is seeing it flourish, and seeing all the ideas come to fruition. And in a way that it just makes sense for everybody to do their talent, and do it to the degree that'in an environment that really encouraged them to do their talent.

Speaker 2: I'm Giovanni Ferosi, CEO of Alex and Ani, Incorporated. It's with the Small Business Administration and it's backing with the loan that allowed us to have the confidence to move forward, and add both jobs, equipment, facilities and move Alex and Ani in an upward mobility in order for us to become Rhode Island's fastest growing company.

Speaker 1: You know we're thriving in an environment that doesn't really encourage a business like ours to thrive. We're opening retail, and in an economy that doesn't really support taking that risk. And we're doing it and we're successful doing it.

Speaker 2: The assistance from the Small Business Administration has allowed Alex and Ani to really be part of the community as a whole. Not only through employing many of its citizens, but most importantly continuing to benefit and practice our beliefs of giving back.

Speaker 1: You wake up every day and you actually'you can't wait to go to work. It's creating a whole new environment for what other people label as their jobs, is really their life extension of doing their life's purpose here at Alex and Ani, because we have a message and that message is positive energy.
