Coast to Coast Equipment

Speaker 1: In 2006, Coast to Coast Equipment started in Cleveland, Ohio with just $200.00 selling high reach construction equipment. In two-and-a-half years we've used four SBA programs. Thanks to the SBA support sells surpassed $10 million in 2011. Our vision has truly come to life.

Tiffany Tutin: Two thousand nine was tough for the construction industry and that affected us. To survive we tend to adapt and seize new opportunities. A local bank and the SBA saw the strength of our company and our vision. Carly Cahlik: We received better terms on our current debt through an SBA -7 (A) Loan and gained new capital through an express line of credit.

Speaker 1: Increased product offerings gave us the power to sell packages of equipment by the container load. Exports doubled from 2009. We began serving customers in eighteen different countries. Domestically, we started an equipment rental company, Ohio High Reach. The SBA was there to help again. This time with the 7 (A) Loan. We also created 8 new jobs in sells, shipping, inventory management, and our new service department. This year we acquired a large facility of our own made possible by the 504 Loan Program. Our new neighbors cater to truck repair and we've adapted their products and services to our machines. Hydraulic hoses, equipment painting, and other goods and services are now being purchased literally right down the street.

Speaker 2: The creation of eight new jobs and our contributions to our local economy are what we find most rewarding. We have bigger goals ahead and now a strong team of ten instead of two to accomplish that. Each person contributes their ideas, talent, hard work, and drive. Where we are today is just the beginning.
