Lori C. Adamo is president of Code Red Business Continuity Services, LLC, founded in 2003. Adamo served in municipal government for over seven years before founding Code Red. She worked as the economic development director for the City of Cranston, RI and previously for the City of Woonsocket, RI. Adamo is responsible for growing and establishing businesses in the State of Rhode Island. Adamo serves on the advisory board for the Institute for Business & Home Safety, creators of “Open for Business,” a disaster planning toolkit for small business. Adamo also serves as chair of the Private-Public Sector Regional Committee of the New England Disaster Recovery Information X-change. She is leading the committee currently working to establish a Private-Public System in conjunction with the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency to help Rhode Island businesses prepare for major disruptions. Adamo has received certification by the Disaster Recovery International Institute in developing business continuity strategies Adamo holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Retail Merchandising Management and an Associates Degree in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University. |
