MIAMI - U.S. Small Business South Florida District Director recently announced the winners of SBA's 2017 South Florida District and State of Florida Small Business Week Awards.
 
“I am honored to announce the District's winners for the 2017 National Small Business Week Awards program,” said South Florida District Director Francisco “Pancho” Marrero. “This year, we received more than 40 nomination packages and to say “I was impressed" would be an understatement. The caliber of business expertise, expansion success and community engagement of each nominee was remarkable!”

Winners will be presented with their NSBW awards during various ceremonies throughout the District.
 
Each year since 1963, the president has issued a proclamation calling for the celebration of National Small   Business Week.  National Small Business Week is set as the first week in May, and this year the dates are April 30 – May 6 with national events planned in Washington, D.C., New York City, Indianapolis, Dallas and Fresno, Calif.
