SBA Hosts Another Free Workshop for Entrepreneurs in West Oahu

Honolulu, HI – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Hawaii District Office (HDO) is hosting its last free spring workshop for small businesses or those considering business ownership.  So, if you’re a Caterer, Contractor, Consultant, Spa Owner, Dentist, DJ, Pet Shop Owner, or any other type of business, join us on June 20, 2017.  The workshops will be presented 9:00 a.m. – Noon in the FOR‘EWA Pono Office at 1001 Kamokila Boulevard, Suite #133 in Kapolei.

Assisting SBA at this workshop will be representatives from banks, resource providers working with small businesses, and the State of Hawaii (SOH) Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs’ (DCCA) Business Action Center.  Bring your ideas and thoughts, and receive answers to questions you’ve been having such as:

  • Why do you need a G.E.T. license?
  • Do you have the proper financing?
  • How does your name reflect your brand and does it matter?
  • How can I tell if my marketing is effective?
  • Am I pricing your product or service appropriately and how can I tell?

SBA offers assistance and information in multiple areas including starting a busness, financing a business, growing a business, and Federal contracting opportunities.  Attendees may find free parking at the James Campbell Building.
