New Elevator Pitch Competition for Veteran Entrepreneurs at Operation: Start Up & Grow

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 2017 Rapid Response Elevator Pitch Competition is a new regional business competition and showcase for established small businesses owned by current U.S. military service members or veterans. Applications from businesses established for at least one year will be accepted. First round applications must be submitted by February 16. Ten Second Round semi-finalists will be selected and notified on February 17. Second Round semi-finalists must submit proof of military service and a 90-second video of their elevator pitch as instructed by March 1. Three Final Round finalists will be selected and notified on March 3.

The top three finalists will be showcased at the 2017 Operation: Start Up & Grow (OSUAG) Conference on March 16 at the SRC Arena in Syracuse, NY. Finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their business to a panel of judges and over 500 conference attendees for $1,000 in cash prize money donated by Rapid Response Monitoring. All finalists will receive a cash prize to invest in their companies, with the winner receiving $500.
