Mission Community Services Corporation in San Luis Obispo Recognized for Excellence & Achievement


FRESNO – The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today that Mission Community Services Corporation’s Women’s Business Center in San Luis Obispo has been selected as the 2016 Women’s Business Center of the Year for the SBA’s Fresno District which serves fifteen counties in the San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast.   


Established in 1998 and SBA certified as a Women’s Business Center since 2006, the agency supports the needs of established and emerging women entrepreneurs in San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and Kern Counties. Under the leadership of Center Director Chuck Jehle, a former small business owner, the WBC has made special efforts to reach out to Spanish speaking women entrepreneurs. Mission Community Services Corporation and Director Chuck Jehle will be recognized by the SBA during National Small Business Week, May 1-7, 2016.
