Jacksonville, FLA. - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) North Florida District Director Wilfredo J. Gonzalez is pleased to announce the winners of SBA's 2019 District and State of Florida Small Business Week Awards.

 

North Florida District and State of Florida Small Business Person of the Year

North Florida District and State of Florida Veteran-Owned Small Business Person of the Year

Ms. Dallas Hart, President, Hart 2 Hart Academy, Inc. (Lake City, Florida)

 

North Florida District and State of Florida Minority-Owned Small Business Person of the Year

North Florida District Woman-Owned Small Business Person of the Year

Ms. Laurie Morgan Lee, President, Elevate Business Law, PA (Jacksonville, Florida)

 

North Florida District Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Mr. Brandon Stallings, CEO, SmartBox (Jacksonville, Florida)

 

North Florida District Small Business Advocate of the Year

Ms. Sue Miller, Business Development Officer, Navy Federal Credit Union (Jacksonville, Florida)

 

North Florida District Community Partner of the Year

City of Jacksonville, Small and Emerging Business Program (JSEB)

               

 

"The Small Business Administration dedicates one week every year to recognize the accomplishments of small business owners throughout the country. I am pleased to be able to honor so many small business owners in our district, many of whom have also won at the State level. These winners are highly deserving of their respective awards and recognition,” stated Gonzalez.  

 

The 2019 Small Business Week Award Winners will be recognized at the Annual Small Business Week & Lender Awards Celebration (hosted by the Small Business Development Center at University of North Florida) on May 10, 2019.  Tickets and more information about the awards are available at the SBDC at UNF website. Fiscal Year 2018 Top Lenders will also be recognized at this event. Orlando area winners will be recognized at a private event hosted by the SBDC at the University of Central Florida.
