SBA Announces Bidders Conference

HAWAII – The Hawaii Pacific Islands District Office  will host a Bidders Conference on Wednesday, July 28th at its district office located at:  500 Ala Moana Blvd., Suite 1-306, Honolulu, HI .  The SBA is seeking a new host for the Small Business Development Center program in the territory of American Samoa. 

The selected host will receive approximately $750,000 in federal grant funds annually to serve current and perspective entrepreneurs throughout the territory.

Eligible organizations are public or private institutions of higher education, land grant colleges & universities, colleges and schools of business, engineering, commerce or agriculture.  Community and junior colleges as well as currently funded SBA Women’s Business Centers are also eligible.

Apply to be a part of one of the nation’s largest government funded small business management and technical assistance programs, an elite system of 63 hosts with more than 900 service delivery locations throughout the United States and its territories.
