SBA Awards Indiana Small Business Person of the Year

INDIANAPOLIS – The U.S. Small Business Administration Indiana District Office recognized and awarded this year’s Small Business Person of the Year at an awards luncheon at the Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway May 2nd.

“It is my pleasure to announce Michele Meyer, President and CEO of CSCI Consulting as this year’s Indiana SBA Small Business Person of the Year,” SBA Indiana District Director Stacey Poynter said. “Michele started her company 14 years ago with a mission of putting employees first and empowering them to be the cornerstone of her business. ”

CSCI Consulting, headquartered in Indianapolis is a nationally recognized consulting, enterprise IT, and financial management firm serving clients in federal, state, and commercial markets. Owner Michele Meyer says it is an honor to receive an award for her company’s work at the federal level.

“It’s the simple magic,” Meyer says. “I’ve built my company on empowerment and customer service at all levels. We’re a team of associates; there’s no ‘employees’ or ‘staff’, we’re a team that gets the job done for our clients because we believe in what we do and want to make a difference.”
