SBA Helps Entrepreneurs Become "Business Smart"

EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA – The U.S. Small Business Administration Eastern Pennsylvania District Office offers its free “Business Smart” half-day business education workshop to new and aspiring entrepreneurs in Bucks County and surrounding communities in May. The free event is Thursday, May 26, 9:15 to 11:45 a.m. at Bucks County Community College, Upper Campus. PA CareerLink Bucks County holds the workshop, which lays the ground work for helping participants launch a business idea.

“SBA is committed to making our communities economically stronger,” said Antonio (Tony) Leta, Director of SBA’s Eastern Pennsylvania District. “Business Smart was developed by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders to educate and empower businesses and entrepreneurs about how to turn their idea into reality.”

WHAT: FREE “Business Smart” workshop for new and aspiring entrepreneurs in Bucks County and surrounding communities. Participants learn the basics of business startup, the essentials of becoming credit-ready, and how and where to find additional small business support and education resources in their local community.

WHEN: Thursday, May 26, 9:15 to 11:45 a.m.
