SAN JUAN, PR – Today the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) honored 3A Press Corporation’s leaders, siblings Marie and Angel Alexis Rosado, with the Puerto Rico Small Business Person of the Year Award, SBA District Director Yvette T. Collazo announced.

Collazo presented the team with its award at the Small Business Week closing ceremonies co-hosted by the Puerto Rico Bankers Association, and at which Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company Executive Director Ricardo Llerandi was keynote speaker.

“The SBA Atlantic Region and our district offices are glad to recognize hard working entrepreneurs such as Marie and Angel Alexis Rosado for their dedication and commitment to excellence in today’s burgeoning economy.  As we celebrate National Small Business Week, the SBA honors small businesses as well as the entrepreneurs who make them a success. They significantly contribute to local communities, develop creative products and make advances with innovative technologies,” said SBA Regional Administrator Steve Bulger.

Originally founded in 1948 as Imprenta Rosado by Marie and Angel Alexis Rosado’s father Víctor, the Lajas-based company has evolved through the years to become a leader in packaging printing for the pharmaceutical industry.  Today, 3A Press employs over 130 people and exports its services to companies in Mexico.

“Today we welcome Marie and Angel Alexis Rosado into SBA’s Hall of Fame. They have driven their company to become a leader in its industry, provided employment to over 100 families and contributed to their community’s economic development. As Small Business Week 2019 comes to an end, we celebrate their achievements and success,” said SBA District Director Yvette T. Collazo.
