Honolulu, HI – What does SBA offer to small business owners? The programs are many and varied, and the qualifications for each can be specific. So far this fiscal year, SBA has supported almost $32 million in lending to small businesses in the Hawaii District and we’re prepared to provide more assistance to local companies ready to grow. Watch for SBA Resource Day in Kaneohe on April 27, 2017.

Take advantage of this free opportunity to meet one-on-one with an SBA representative who will help you cut through the red tape, navigate and explain SBA programs and resources available to you.  Ask us about:

  • Loans for working capital – SBA CAPlines Program for contract loans, seasonal lines of credit, builders lines, or working capital lines of credit – or our other loans;
  • Long-term financing to purchase or renovate business real estate or major equipment – SBA 504 Loan Program; and,
  • Government contracting certifications and assistance – SBA’s 8(a) Business Development & other Government small business contracting programs.
  • Training, workshops and technical assistance with credit, exporting, marketing and more.

In coordination with First Hawaiian Bank (FHB), one of our participating lenders, an experienced SBA Specialist will be available for a 30-minute confidential consultation on Thursday, April 27, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at FHB’s Kaneohe Branch at 45-580 Kaneohe Bay Drive, Building H. Appointments are required and scheduled by SBA. Walk-ins may be accepted if time allows.  To register, visit and click on the Events Calendar.  For more information, you can also call (808) 541-2990 x 210.
