Small Businesses Invited to Meet Government and Large Businesses for New Contracting Opportunities

MINNEAPOLIS  – Small businesses interested in doing business with government agencies and prime contractors are invited to attend a free reverse trade fair. Turning the tables over traditional trade fairs, the 20th Annual SADBOC Government Procurement Fair will feature over 60 government agencies and large prime contractors at tables waiting for businesses to learn what services they seek. 

Held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, 6155 Earle Brown Drive, Brooklyn Center, Minn., the SADBOC Procurement Fair will provide small businesses an opportunity to meet with representatives from federal, state and local departments, commercial/prime contractors, and nonprofit service providers.

The event is expected to draw over 900 attendees from all parts of Minnesota. In addition to giving them a chance to get to know the buyers, attendees can learn how to be more successful in their efforts with 21 free workshops on topics such as selling to the government and finding contracting opportunities. This year the workshops will also feature a six-part series on federal contracting readiness.
