Showcasing Small Business Saturday Economic Impact

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – U.S. Sen. Tom Carper and SBA Delaware District Director John Fleming join representatives from Delaware Small Business Development Center; SCORE; the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce; and state and local governments on Bethany Beach’s iconic Garfield Parkway Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., to call attention to the upcoming Small Business Saturday. Celebrated annually after Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday highlights the impact of consumer support on small businesses. Last year, an estimated 104 million consumers nationwide shopped small on Small Business Saturday.

WHERE:   10:30 a.m. – Bethany Beach Books (99 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, Del. 19930) Business tour & media availability. Opened in 1991, Bethany Beach Books is an independently owned bookstore, located steps from the Bethany Beach boardwalk.    

11:00 a.m. – Su Casa (101 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, Del. 19930) Business tour & media availability. Open since May 2016, Su Casa’s Bethany location offers furniture and home accessories shop in a variety of styles.

11:30 a.m. – Tangerine Goods (101 Garfield Parkway, Store #8, Bethany Beach, Del. 19930) Business tour & media availability. This retail shop features a curated lifestyle collection of jewelry, accessories and gifts.
