RICHMOND, Va. ­­– The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Richmond District Office and the City of Chesapeake’s Department of Economic Development host a workshop designed to help woman-owned businesses rise to the next level at the Chesapeake conference Center April 16, 2015.


The workshop is titled “Advancing Women in Business Series: Taking it to the next level –Part II.” Participants have their choice to attend a variety of 45 minute training breakout sessions with topics ranging from financing to finding business opportunities.

WHEN:  Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region III Administrator, Natalia Olson-Urtecho and the City of Chesapeake’s Mayor Alan P. Krasnoff will provide welcome remarks.


Additional guest speakers and presenters include SBA’s Richmond District Office District Director, Carl Knoblock, Virginia Small Business Supplier Diversity’s Sandy Ratliff, and Virginia Department of General Services’ Kim Madison.
