SBA Hosts Free Workshop for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses

Honolulu, HI – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Hawaii District Office (HDO) with the newly opened Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) of the Pacific is offering a workshop to help new and existing veteran-owned small businesses as they begin or continue their development.


The SBA’s programs can help entrepreneurs at all levels. This workshop will focus on veterans, active duty or reserve, as well as their spouses and children.  If you are in any of these categories, please join us at this event that will help to educate new and existing businesses on small business programs available to veterans.  Whether you are in need of financial assistance or seeking information on small business certifications, contracting opportunities, or accessing the VBOC, the SBA can help.


The workshop will be presented Thursday, April 27, 2017, 9 – 11:30 a.m. in the SBA HDO training room at 500 Ala Moana Blvd. (Waterfront Plaza), Building 1, Suite 306.  SBA offers assistance and information in multiple areas including starting a busness, financing a business, growing a business, and Federal contracting opportunities.  Attendees may find parking in the Waterfront Plaza facility for a fee or on surrounding surface streets.
