Maria Contreras-Sweet became the 24th Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration and a member of President Obama’s Cabinet on April 7, 2014. She is a successful business executive, entrepreneur, and state cabinet official. Throughout her career, she has been a champion of diversity, access to capital and equal opportunity for all Americans.
