Small Business Labor Safety (OSHA/MSHA) Roundtable

The Next Small Business Labor Safety (OSHA/MSHA) Roundtable has been moved to Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and the location has also changed to the auditorium at the U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue, Washington, DC 20201.

The agenda for the meeting will include an overview of DOL’s efforts on regulatory reform pursuant to Executive Orders 13771 and 13777 by Nathan Mehrens, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy, and then an update on recent OSHA activities and policy priorities from Loren Sweatt, the Deputy Assistant Secretary and Acting Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health.

Roundtable meetings are open to all interested persons, with the exception of the press, in order to facilitate an open and frank discussion about small business-related issues. Agendas and presentations are available to all, including the press. The purpose of these roundtable meetings is to exchange opinions, facts, and information and to obtain the attendees’ individual views and opinions regarding small business concerns. The meetings are not intended to communicate or achieve any consensus positions of the attendees.
