Hi everyone. I wanted to know if anyone uses a PMB as their business address and also for registering and getting licensced for an online store?
I was so excited to get started and felt I did enough research to ateast get things started with registring my business entity and dba's, etc, that I went ahead and purchased a PMB so I could use that street address as my bizz address.
I proceeded with this because I was doing some research on the net and some have said they use a PMB for thier address instead of thier home/apt address for their privacy and security. Some states accept PMB address if it's a street address. However, is it a good idea to use it?
Another reason I wanted to get one is because I may be moving in the next few months. So instead of having to always go thru address changes, to just use the PMB as my address.
I really don't want to have to use my home/apartment address as my business address because it doesn't look professional, as well to protect my privacy and safety like many others.
My concerns tho, is if registring my business with my PMB street address will that hinder future tax deductions for expenses incurred from buying things like office supplies, net usage, etc?
I basically do not want my home address revealed to the public as a business address. The guy at the city hall suggested to just use a PMB address as my address on my website, but what diffence does it make if I do that if I then register my bizz with my home address and someone looks up my business...they would then have my home address!
I take it this may be an issue with getting a home waiver permit too! ugh!
Any advice or experiences please? TIA
