The National Small Business Contracting Summit - Southeast (January 26-27, Orlando, FL) opens the door to opportunity for small businesses seeking growth, new markets and economic recovery. Presented by the National Association of Small Business Contractors and the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce this highly regarded summit brings together a strong lineup of federal agency and contracting leaders from Washington, DC, and the Southeast region to link small businesses to the knowledge, opportunities and connections needed to get a piece of the $55 billion spent by the federal government each year in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Federal agencies participating include: U.S. Army, Army Corp of Engineers, Army PEOSTRI, U.S. Navy, NAVFAC, NAVAIR, U.S. Air Force, SOCOM, MacDill Air Force Base, Elgin Air Force Base, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, U.S. Dept. of Treasury, U.S. Dept. of Interior, GSA, U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and U.S. Dept. of State. Prime contractors and other presenters include Lockheed Martin, Boeing, BAE Systems, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Florida Dept. of Transportation, Florida Dept. of Corrections, Teya Technologies, Small Business Transportation Resource Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
