Thank you so much to anyone who will offer their piece of knowledge!
Fictitious name: on the agreement it says, 'I further certify that the fictitious name to be registered has been advertised at least once in a newspaper as defined in chapter 50, F.S., in the county where the principal place of business is located'. Do I need to do that even for home-based online store?
Also, in the business address, I have a rented P.O. box that I use for business, should I post P.O box address or should I put my home address?
legal structure of business: I'm just starting out and I don't want to rush into setting up LLC or things like that so do I have to do anything else other than filing tax like a normal non-business person?
tax in Florida: I know that I'll only need to apply for 'sales tax' from http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/taxes/registration.html
Once I register, will I be told how much to tax?
Also, doesn't Florida also has state and county sales tax so when customers buy from my website, do they get taxed if they live in Florida or because my business in in Florida?
Do I need to file Personal Property Tax if I'm doing this from my parents' house (I'm a student).
Licenses and Permits: I'm selling clothing and accessories so I don't think I need any licenses or permits since nothing listed in the website as directed by http://www.business.gov/states/florida/start.html has any related to clothing and retail. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
