Hi. I am interested in your opinion on this topc.
A US study says that China could cut its emissions by 30 per cent in the next two decades if it switches to wind power to meet about half of its electricity demands.
The mainland's energy needs are expected to double by 2030, but the study, in the journal Science, says that it could reasonably expect to meet half of those needs with wind. China as the world's largest emitter of carbon dioxide - the US researchers also say wind power could theoretically supply all of the giant's energy, though do you think that the Chinese Government really will prioritize the protection of the environment over commercial growth and profits in the export industry? Please reply en masse:)
