I have been doing business in Brazil since 1999 and it's a fantastic country to do business in with lots of opportunities and professionals as good as anywhere. At the same time, it is not an easy market for a foreigner to navigate. You really need a local partner who you can trust if you want to export there or plan to do business there. Having gone through the trials and errors, I established a B2B trade portal called B2Brazil to assist companies doing business in Brazil. Companies can use B2Brazil to find suppliers, sell products and find local service providers. It is a one-stop shop for doing B2B business with Brazil. The service promotes both Brazilian and non-Brazilian companies through a portal in English at B2Brazil.com and a portal in Portuguese at B2Brazil.com.br. It is made for small businesses and we hope to help U.S. SMEs crack the marketplace as the local partner. Any feedback and questions about doing business in Brazil are welcome.
