I've paid taxes all my life and always been dirt poor, no matter how much I work & how much I 'don't' spend. I've never had the time or money to eat out, go to movies, buy electronics, new tires, or new clothes. I've been wearing the same shoes for ten years now, and they're falling off my feet. I finaly came up with a brilliant idea for a small family owned home based business with a low over head & a large profit margin, but it comes at a time when I'm behind on my bills, my car needs tires, my phone's disconected, and I'm low on groceries. I've never been bankrupt, I have no credit cards or credit card debts, no credit at all, never owned a home, and never had a loan either. I've recently become unimployed, and was turned down on benifits for that as well. No one wants to give me a loan of any kind, no matter how far and wide I search. I came to this site seeking help from my government. I saw advertisements all over TV and the web, made by business organizations & government agencies claiming that there's grants for people who want to start small businesses to help jump start the econamy. But, as soon as I got on this website I can plinly see that my government doesn't give grants to people or individual
s trying to start small businesses. It seems apparent that my government only grants money to huge corperations who waste it by the billions on unnecassary & pointless things. How does that help our econamy? How will I carry on? I can't even be approved for assistance with housing or food, yet illegal non-citizens get all the assistance they newed. Coming to this website was a harsh reallity check for me. I now see that there's nothing left for my family & I, but to be put out on the street. Why? Why is there so much red tape to traverse through in order to make a modest living from working for myself? Why am I literaly forced to work for some corperate establishment, rather than plying my own trade? Why do I need a degree in law& accountin g just to understand all the legalities of starting & owning my own business? It doesn't have to be this complicated guys. Ican provide a simple service, someone can pay me for it, and I can pay my bills & taxes. But it's simply impossible to gewt started because of how complicated you make it to get zoned, get liscenced, get a tax ID, and get a permit. And a mojority of these obstacles have to be repeated on state & local levels, as well as federal. How much more complicated could you possibly make it? And is there any way at all that you could possibly simplify this process for the average business minded person who doesn't have a degree in law or accounting? Or would that simply make far too much sence?
