Hello, I am thinking of starting a (small) business to sew child room decoration items. Mainly, these items will be use for decoration purpose but some of them can also be manipulated by children, even if they're not real toys. Question: I will get all the materials from internet (fabric, foam, tags...). Do I need to provide my customers a certificate of safety (relative to children use) for every different material? For example, do I need to provide fire certificate for fabrics, showing that they resist fire hazard, etc... Even if I'm not the seller of these fabric? In other words, must I endorse responsibility of materials I will use? Note that these items will be handcrafted at my house (home business) in very small quantities (5/mo). This is absolutely not mass production. Also note that I will try to partner up with a local child products store and try to sell them through this store (limited supplies, of course). Thanks!!
