The Thrift Store that I open I want to be a charitable non-profit corporation. After necessary operating costs I want to donate all proceeds to a religious institution. The proceeds donated to the religious institution will be to provide clothing vouchers ($40.00 value) to get clothing for an interview (from the Thrift Store) Also I want money to go into a scholarship fund that will provide ($6000) in scholarship money for a 3 - 6 month training program. The qualified applicant will be on probation or parole or the recovering addict who is in their final stages of treatment and in an approved Recovery House. Does the religious institution need to meet any requirements? Does the religious institution need to provide the training or can it be a third party such as OIC or some other technical training program.
