PORTLAND, Ore. – The U.S. Small Business Administration recently named Camron Doss as the new district director of the Portland District Office. Doss joins the SBA from the General Services Administration, where he served as the Director of the Southern Service Center GSA Northwest/Artic Region.

Doss has 14 years of federal experience with GSA, including work as a Real Property Management Intern, Contracting Officer, Asset Manager, Supervisory Property Manager and Service Center Director. His federal service began in 1998 with the U.S. National Park Service where he served as a Park Ranger Interpreter and an On-Campus Recruiter. Doss graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications and public relations. He received his MBA in business management from Texas A&M University-Commerce and is currently a Juris Doctor degree candidate focusing on business law at Lewis & Clark Law School.
Doss’ appointment takes effect immediately and he looks forward to supporting entrepreneurship and small business growth throughout the district.
“Small businesses are the backbone and heart of our communities,” said Doss. “I’m excited to be a part of an organization dedicated to helping them start, grow and succeed."
“Director Doss’ extensive leadership experience and prior contracting knowledge are great assets to the SBA,” said Regional Administrator Calvin Goings. “We are extremely pleased to have him joining our team."
