SBA, California Centers for International Trade Development, and Riverside County Office of Foreign Trade Provide Assistance To Exporters
Export Trade Assistance Program (ETAP) set to begin January 25th
The Small Business Administration’s Santa Ana District Office is partnering with the California Centers for International Trade Development and the Riverside County Office of Foreign Trade to prepare local businesses to succeed in international markets. The Export Trade Assistance Program (ETAP) is a six-session series kicking off January 25th at the Rabobank Regional Business Center, located at 3111 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way in Palm Springs.
This exclusive training program has been carefully designed to give business executives strategies, insights, and a ready network of contacts necessary to successfully expand sales internationally. The program is open to businesses that have an operating history of at least two years and have a product or service they would like to export. Registration is free. The dates and topics of the six sessions are as follows:
Session 1: Researching Your Export Markets – January 25 (Palm Springs)
Session 2: Identifying the Right Channel of Distribution For Your Products – February 8 (Riverside)
Session 3: Pricing Your Products and Shipping for Export – February 22 (Palm Springs)
Session 4: Legal Aspects of International Trade – March 7 (Riverside)
Session 5: Promoting Your Product or Service Internationally – March 21(Palm Springs)
Session 6: Getting Paid & Financing Into International Markets – April 4 (Riverside)
All sessions start at 8:00 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m. Sessions 1, 3, and 5 will be held at the Rabobank Regional Business Center located at 3111 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262. Sessions 2, 4, and 6 will be held at the Riverside County EDA College of Foreign Trade, 2001 Iowa Street, Conference Room A, Riverside, CA 92507.
