June 4th event introduces Gresham’s Chop House as title holder
PHILADELPHIA – SBA Philadelphia District Director David Dickson will officially introduce Eastern Pennsylvania’s 2013 Family Owned Small Business of the Year, Gresham’s Chop House of Hawley, Penn. co-owned by Thomas Regenski Jr., Paul Regenski and Joseph Regenski on June 4th at 1:30 p.m. The event will be open to the media.

Gresham’s Chop House restaurant has been in the Regenski family for four – and approaching five – generations. Scenically located on Lake Wallenpaupack, the restaurant features delicious steaks, seafood, Italian specialties and light fare. The business has received assistance from the University of Scranton Small Business Development Center, an SBA resource partner which has provided counseling and assistance regarding hiring employees, marketing, refinancing, web-site design and social media marketing.
Philadelphia’s NBC10 anchor and consumer reporter Tracy Davidson will present the awards with SBA’s Philadelphia District Director, David Dickson at the annual “SBA Day at the Ballpark” event on June 5. The awards ceremony begins at 10 a.m. with a luncheon at “Chickie’s & Pete’s” restaurant at 1526 Packer Ave. followed by a 1:05 p.m. Phillies game at nearby Citizens Bank Park. The event is open to the media. This event is co-sponsored Constant Contact and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
SBA’s Eastern Pennsylvania Family-Owned Small Business of the Year award winner is selected annually from among nominees located across Pennsylvania’s eastern 40 counties. These events are local observances of the annual Presidentially-designated National Small Business Week, which will be held this year June 17-21. National Small Business Week recognizes the small business community’s contribution to the American economy.
