How to Get Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) Certified
If you are women- or minority-owned small business in the fields of transportation, construction, or A&E, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program with the U.S. Department of Transportation may help your business win more contracts. This program requires state and local agencies to award a certain percentage of federally funded transportation project dollars to DBE firms and increases their likelihood of winning prime and subcontracts with agencies such as Caltrans, transportation, and local agencies.
Join Norcal PTAC Procurement Specialist and former Manager of Business Diversity Programs at Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, Liz Brazil for a walk through the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification process step by step.
