Part 1 – Square One: Work For Yourself– 1 ½ hours (9 am – 10:30 am)

Part 2 – Doing Business in Seattle- Knowing the Rules: Office of Labor Standards – 1 ½ hours (10:45 am – 12:15 pm)

This session is dedicated to understanding the rules and regulations pertaining to hiring and retaining employees in the City of Seattle.

The objectives of the workshop are:

• To provide an overview of Seattle labor standards • To answer employer questions regarding Seattle labor standards • To provide resources for businesses to start, get, or remain in compliance with Seattle labor standards
