The Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), applies to contractors and subcontractors performing on federally funded or assisted contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration, or repair of public buildings or public works. During this presentation, attendees will receive an overview on who is required to comply with DBA and which workers are protected, wage determinations, certified payrolls, apprentices, CWHSSA overtime payment, and the most common DBA errors to avoid.
