The McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act requires contractors and subcontractors performing services on contracts in excess of $2,500 to pay service employees no less than the wage rates and fringe benefits found prevailing in the locality, or the rates contained in a predecessor contractor's collective bargaining agreement. During this presentation, attendees will receive an overview on who is required to comply with SCA and which workers are protected, wage determinations, fringe benefits, CWHSSA overtime payment, and the most common SCA errors to avoid.
